Critical Biomass Removal on Irish Forest Soils

The ForSite project is assessing the nutrient impact of increased biomass harvesting in Irish forests, by monitoring forest biogeochemistry, developing databases of nutrient exchanges, and a calculator for forest managers and policymakers to assess biomass-harvesting scenarios against a new concept of critical biomass removal.
